Candidates who successfully completed Section A&B of Associate Membership examination conducted by the AeSI are treated at par with those holding a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from an Indian University for recruitment to superior posts and services under the Central Government. Students who have completed this course have been successful in the GATE, and completed M. Tech. or gone abroad for further studies. Those who have successfully completed section A&B examinations of the Society are occupying responsible posts in H.A.L, Indian Airlines, Air India, Pawan Hans, D.R.D.O., N.A.L., Aeronautical Development Establishment, Civil Aviation Department, ONGC, IAF, Army, Navy, Coast Guard and some more of the reputed organisations and establishments. After completion of AMAeSI Engineering Degree one may appear for M. E. / M. Tech. or Examinations like I. A. S. / I. E. S. / I. A. F. / M. P. S. C. / U. P. S. C. and many more. One may also apply for the posts in State / Central Govt. or Public Sector Organisation where necessary qualification of B. E. / B. Tech. is required.

  Practial Training for A.M.Ae.S.I.
For better exposure of Aeronautical Engg. students to new technologies and practical aspects of the aviation field, the Aeronautical Society of India itself arranges practical training at organizations like Indian airlines, Air India, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Etc. at centers like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hydrabad, Chennai, & Ozhar for a period of foor to six months on ‘No Cost No Payment’ basis. This year our Institute has arranged training of our students who has passed Section B at Gas Turbine Research Establishment, Bangalore

The Placement Cell of the Institute is in touch with various organizations and will forward the bio-data of the students (of final semester) in order to assist them in placements. Job opportunities for A.M.Ae.S.I. students are with organizations like:

In case of Aeronautical Engg. the job prospects seems to be much brighter because very few Engg. Colleges are awarding B.E. (Aeronautical) and also many private Airlines have started their operations, also many maintenance, repairing, overhauling facilities are coming up.
