- Admissions will be through entrance examination and 10+2 marks.
- Scheduled date of entrance examination is 11th May 2008.
- This examination will be valid for academic year 2008-2009 only.
- Entrance examination will be applicable to the candidate who wants to take the admission after 10+2 only.
- For the entrance examination candidate must have passed / appeared 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Diploma holder and 10th pass candidate will get direct admission.
- Entrance examination will be common for all the courses of I.I.A.E.I.T after 10+2 (refer course list).
- Candidate can select any examination centre listed below in centre list.
- Candidate has to send duly filled and signed application form along with photocopy of 10th certificate, 10+2 passing certificate or 10+2 hall ticket and three passport size photographs along with a DD of Rs 500/-(Rs five hundred only) in favour of “WCAT” payable at Pune.
- Candidate will receive the Admit Card and details of venue of examination on his/her correspondence address.
- After examination short listed eligible candidates will receive the admission form and respective offer letter by post/courier.

- Question Paper : the entrance test is of one hour thirty minutes and Question paper Consist of to the 100 Questions. All Questions will be Objective type (Multiple choice only).The Question Paper contains 100 questions of the following type Comprising 25 question from mathematics, 25 physics ,10 from chemistry , 20 from English and 20 from general knowledge paper opted by the student.
