Q.1  Is there any donation for admission

No, we do not charge any donation or capitation fee for admission. The fees, deposits & other charges are clearly mentioned in the Prospectus & there are no other collections

Q.2   How the students who are relatively lower in merit would be able to cope up with the course?

IIAEIT provides opportunity to the students who may not be very high in merit to do associate membership courses of the professional bodies. These courses are rich in content but require systematic studies & hard work.

Q.3  Are the AMAeSI/AMIETE/AMIME correspondence courses?

No, these are not correspondence courses-but require quite systematic studies in an organized manner. Correspondence course involves sending study material to the students who complete the assignments & mail it back to the university or to the correspondence centre. There is no such arrangement in AM courses. IIAEIT prepares the students to appear for these courses so that they can pass successfully.

Q.4  4. Can the AM courses be pursued in coaching classes?

The subjects can be studied by self study or with the help of coaching classes. But mere coaching classes do not ensure proper development of the personality which is possible only in regular regimen. In addition practical training seminars, technical visits are absent in the coaching system


Q.5  Are AMAeSI/AMIETE/AMIME equivalent to regular degree in engineering.

These qualifications have been recognized being at par with engineering degree from a university by the Govt of India.

Q.6  Does IIAEIT have AICTE approval?

No, IIAEIT does not have AICTE approval. For non-formal professional courses like AMAeSI/AMIETE/AMIME – which involves only preparation for the examinations AICTE approval is not required.

Q.7  What about Placement?

The Institute has an active Training & Placement Cell. Companies of high repute have visited our campus for selection.

Q.8  What are the duties and responsibilities of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers?

An AME is responsible to issue certificate of Flight Release / Maintenance in respect of Aircraft Engine, Instruments, Electrical, Radio System, etc., which Certifies that the aircraft is airworthy and fit to fly.

Q.9  Is AME a degree or diploma or a license course?

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a license course, issued by the DGCA.

Q.10  Is there a demand for the AME Course?

Yes indeed, there is a huge demand for the AME Courses today, in both Mechanical and Avionics streams. Owing to the high demand for maintenance operations of various airlines companies, there is a steep rise in the requirements of licensed aircraft & maintenance engineers.
